Practitioner Series
therapeutic animal massage certification
Our Practitioner Series classes are certified and regulated by the Colorado Department of Private Occupational Schools. Completion of this series provides students with a certification in therapeutic animal massage and approval to practice animal therapeutic massage in the state of Colorado.
To practice as an animal massage therapist in Colorado, students must complete the following:
- Practitioner 01- Introduction to Therapeutic Animal Massage
- Practitioner 02 - Body Mechanics & Practical Physiology
To be eligible to sit for the NBCAAM board certification exam, students must ALSO complete the following (NBCAAM certification is not required to practice animal massage in Colorado):
- Practitioner 03 - Massage as a Therapeutic Modality (offered on an as needed basis)
- Practitioner 04 - Business Concepts & Implementation (offered on an as needed basis)
